I am puzzled as to why you have addressed it to Isis Innovation Ltd. Isis
is the University's wholly owned technology transfer company. It helps
academics to exploit the commercial potential of their research and
identifies and manages consultancy opportunities. It has no involvement in
the construction business, and does not procure construction consultants
or construction contractors.

I would be grateful if you could clarify whether it is your intention that
the request should be answered by the University, rather than Isis in
particular. If this is your intention, I will refer the request to our
Estates Directorate, as the department responsible for managing the
University's construction programme. I will defer further action until you
have clarified this matter.

I would also be grateful if you could advise whether you are submitting
this request on behalf of Built Environment Marketing Ltd. I ask this, not
because it would make any difference to the way we respond to your
request, but because it is important for our record keeping that we know
the identity of persons submitting freedom of information requests.
