Freedom of Information Requests following the COVID-19 (coronavirus)
pandemic

Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is committed
to the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic we paused the processing of
Information Requests under the FOI Act 2000 as our resources were diverted
to support our front-line colleagues.

Now that HM Government has lowered the severity level to 3, we are
processing requests again but are working through a significant backlog.
We are obliged to start with those earliest requests and will work our way
forward as efficiently and effectively as we are available.  We assure you
that we strive to be transparent and to work with an open culture, however
we ask you to bear with us as it is likely that responses to some requests
for information will be delayed.  We apologise for this position in
advance, and will endeavour to provide you with as much information as we
can, as soon as we are able.

The Information Commissioners Office has recognised the current situation
in the NHS, more information on this is available at the ICO website here:

As an estimate, we are expecting to respond to your request no later than
13^th October 2020.

Kind Regards

also undertakes a lot of other duties such as collecting and dropping of
samples on a number or scheduled routes on behalf of the trust.

This contract is coming up for renewal, so if you are interested in
bidding for this contract they should follow the link below.
