Dear Ms. Black,

Further to your recent request made under the Freedom of Information Act
2000, please see detailed below the Trust’s response:

1.            What are your current invoice volumes? 3982 per month

2.            How many suppliers have you paid in the last 12 months?

3.            What is the current spend of the Trust that is managed by
Procurement? £46m

4.            What is the value of spend not managed by Procurement? £17m

5.            How much spend is raised without a Purchase order? £28

6.            How much spend is raised with a Purchase order but after the
spend has already been committed? Unable to provide at present, please
advise if still required?

We do not routinely collect this information. The only way of obtaining
the information would be to manually check through all invoices received
during a month. Given that there are currently 3982 which even at 1 minute
per invoice, would take 66 hours. The provision of this information is
therefore exempt under Section 12 of the FOI act which states that this
exemption will apply “where the cost of compliance is estimated to exceed
the appropriate limit”.  This is based on a cost limit of £450 with a
calculation of £25 per hour.

7.            Which systems to you currently use in each area of the Trust
