Our Response:

In terms of Education construction projects.

We do not have our own Peterborough City Council (PCC) specialist
framework for M&E Consultant Services. We could have direct access to
such services via various national frameworks but we have not done
so.

In the past, strategic partners AMEY and Enterprise provided access
to M&E consultants should they have been required.

Likewise prior to AMEY and Enterprise, PCC employed its own design
team specialists including M&E specialists. However, this is no
longer the case.

Typically in our school building projects, if we require M&E design
services these will be provided through Norfolk Property Services as
a Strategic Partner of the Council, or through any specialist
Technical Advisors we appoint from a National Framework, and they
will also provide the design team specialists.

If we carry out a single stage design and build tender, then the
design and build contractor will provide the specialist M&E design
services.

In terms of non-Education construction projects

Peterborough City Council have a Corporate contract with Enterprise
Managed Services (EMS). They manage all works and tender these where
required and list them on Sourcedogg.
