I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request dated 19
November 2024

For ease of reference, I have reproduced your questions below and set out
our corresponding responses.

1. How do you procure construction contractors AND construction
consultancy and / or professional services?

The University will determine its route to procure Construction services
on a project-by-project basis - there is no singular route to market. 
Options could include Open Tender via Sell2Wales , Mini Competition under
Framework or Call Off under Framework Each construction project will have
its own Procurement Strategy agreed.

 

2. If this is using your own framework / frameworks please advise:

                ○ The titles of the relevant frameworks (with the names of
any lots)

                ○ Start and end dates of these frameworks including any
extensions

                ○ The companies appointed under these frameworks (with any
relevant lots)
