Dear UK Border Agency,

This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

I understand that the the Border Force uses Morpho RapID units as part of a system for identifying (or verifying the identity of) individuals using fingerprints, based on information held on the Immigration and Asylum Fingerprint System (IAFS) database.

Please can you send me:

1. A copy of the contract your department signed with the supplier of the Morpho RapID units.

2. Any requirements documents that your department sent to the supplier describing the expected behaviour of the Morpho RapID units.

3. Any reports that you hold about the False Match Rate (FMR) and False Non-Match Rate (FNMR) when Morpho RapID units and the IAFS database are used together in this way.

Yours Faithfully,

Andrew Watson
