Please supply me with the following statistics for your Council for Goods and Services procurement where 'goods' are tangible products such as pens or computers, generally known as supplies; 'works' are "the construction or demolition of buildings, both residential and non-residential, repair to the fabric of these buildings, construction of roads, bridges, tunnels, and the installation of gas, electric, and plumbing services" and 'services' are the provision of an intangible product such as care or refuse collection, whether it is carried out internally or externally. The following payments should be EXCLUDED: foster carer payments; payments to pension funds; payments to other local authorities for placement of clients or other non-commercial activities; payments to individuals for expenses, insurance settlements, council tax refunds, etc; Benefits payments and transfer payments.

The figures should cover (unless stated) the period 1st April 2014 to the 31st March 2015.
• Council’s net revenue budget.
• The total number of contracted suppliers as at the 31st March 2015.
• Total value of Goods and Services acquired by the council from third party suppliers.
• Total value of goods and services acquired from third party suppliers by the council that were acquired under the terms of a contract whether arranged by the Council independently or by a collaboration with another Council or through participation in a Contract provided through a Framework.
• Cost of procurement management (Total cost of procurement function (staff salaries, on-costs, share of central recharges, dedicated system costs, contracted third party support costs) for a given period).
• The total number of suppliers (contracted or not) that received a payment for Goods or services.
• The total number of contract managers named on the council contract register as at 31 March 2015.
• The total number of contract managers named on the council contract register as at 31 March 2015.
• The total value of contracts held by the council as at the 31st March 2015.

contacted the relevant services and now provide a response to the
following request: Procurement.

 

The figures should cover (unless stated) the period 1st April 2014 to the
31st March 2015.

1.     Council’s net revenue budget.

Leeds City Council’s budget report pack for 2014/15 is published within
the agenda pack for the February 2014 meeting of Full Council. This can be
accessed in the Councillors and Democracy strand of the Council’s
web-site, leeds.gov.uk. It can be found in the Your Council/Councillors &
Democracy/Councillors & Committees/Councillors, Committees & Board
Meetings area of the site. If you browse the agendas and minutes for
meetings of Council and choose the 26 February 2014 agenda report pack,
you will be able to access the budget report pack for 2014/15.

 

The budget report pack includes a detailed subjective budget statement for
each directorate which will furnish you with the information you require.

 

2.     The total number of contracted suppliers as at the 31st March 2015.

3.     Total value of Goods and Services acquired by the council from
third party suppliers.

4.     Total value of goods and services acquired from third party
suppliers by the council that were acquired under the terms of a contract
whether arranged by the Council independently or by a collaboration with

Under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, we are not
required to provide information in response to a request for information
if it is already reasonably accessible to you and also under 22 of the Act
- Information Intended for Future Publication as this information. The
information you have requested is available through the council’s
publication scheme.
