Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

I would like toknow the process involved in your referring a Universal Credit claimant to CHDA for a Work Capability Assessment.

In ESA we could simply send in an ESA50 and that would trigger a reassessment but we are being told it's not that straightforward in UC, hence I'd like to know how you approach the issue.

Yours faithfully,

Dan Manville

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Process for referral to CHDA for Work Capability Assessment'.

The reply does not quite answer my question. I appreciate you complete an "MSRS" referral but what does that ential? What information changes hands? Is there still an avenue to simply send a UC50 into Medical Services to trigger a new assessment?

Thanks

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...
