Problems with Performance Related Pay in the Northern Ireland Civil Service
Dear Prime Minister’s Office,
On how many occasions has the Northern Ireland Civil Service not supported the decision of its own Reporting Officer in a Performance Related Pay negotiation?
Yours faithfully,

Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
Long standing, unaddressed and unresolved problems with suspected but uninvestigated serious fraud in the NICS Performance Related Pay system have left the place unworkable.
The thing is that ALL Promotion and Recruitment processes cannot, for Equality reasons , proceed until the Reporting Cycles of ALL potential candidates have been brought up to date and in sync.
This is a situation that has been ongoing twenty years and more with Communication Bans affecting everything.
Reputable companies like Capita for instance, to protect their own reputations, and for the health of their own staff, may be forced to withdraw.
We have to be fair to Capita or other Recruitment Companies too. They don't deserve to me mixed up in these old style Ulster Note and File situations. Nobody does. We don't want Capita staff going off sick with the stress too.
If any information or updates on this situation do come to hand, do please be sure to let me have a copy.
Good Luck.
Yours sincerely,
AIDAN QUINN
