Pro forma letter templates about benefits
Dear HM Revenue and Customs,
I am currently a Master's student at the University of Birmingham and I am interested in the language used to communicate with benefits claimants. I would thus be extremely grateful if you could send me any pro forma letter templates used to communicate with welfare recipients on any matters. In anticipation, thank you for your help.
Yours faithfully,
K. Pullen

Dear Ms Pullen,
Freedom of Information Act 2000 Acknowledgement
Thank you for your communication of 21st July which has been passed to
HMRC's Freedom of Information Team.
We have allocated the above reference which you should quote if you need
to contact us.
The Team will arrange for a reply to be sent to you which will either
comply with HMRC's obligations under Freedom of Information Act or, if we
think it's an enquiry that we don't need to address under the terms of the
Act, let you know why. If it is the latter we will, if possible, pass it
on to a more appropriate part of the Department for answer.
Yours sincerely

Dear [email address] on behalf of Team, FOI,
Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your response to my request. After some thought I have taken your advice and tried to refine my request.
Therefore, would it be possible to have approximately ten pro-forma letters which are sent to benefits recipients who have been, or are in danger of being sanctioned?
Many thanks for your help,
Yours sincerely,
K. Pullen
