1) Please can you send me a copy of the "Private Sector Housing Grants Policy"
Or whatever is now replacing what was also known as Assisted Maintenance Grant and Decent Homes Funding Grants: That is funding that can be applied for so a dwelling complies with the decency standard
It meets the current statutory minimum standard for housing
It is in a reasonable state of repair
It has reasonably modern facilities and services
It provides a reasonable degree of thermal comfort
2) a Copy of the current Funding Grants - Process Description for the scheme
as provided before under the Decent Homes title

I am writing to request an internal review of West Northamptonshire Council's handling of my FOI request 'Private Sector Housing Grants'.
I wish to clarify are you stating the WNC and SNC does not provide any
"Private Sector Housing Grants"
under any name e.g.

The Tower Hamlets Home Improvement Agency (THHIA) was established in 1990 by the council to provide professional, technical and administrative services for priority owners and occupiers in connection with the arranging or carrying out of works for the improvement or repair of their homes or the carrying out of adaptations to meet the needs of a disabled person.
The HIA can assist you from helping to fill out the grant application form to supervising the works and paying the contractor when the works are completed satisfactorily. Grants can be applied for by members of the private sector and tenants who are either; over 60 years of age, disabled, on a low income or have other special circumstances.

Private Sector Housing Renewal Assistance
is intended to address a range of strategic housing objectives as funding allows, but is primarily aimed at those households who, by virtue of their age, disability or financial disadvantage, are least able to help themselves. The qualifying criteria and grant conditions applicable to each type of assistance are detailed within the policy.
All grants, except for Mandatory Disabled Facilities Grants, are discretionary and are therefore subject to the availability of funding, which varies from year to year. Qualifying criteria for each type of assistance may be adjusted accordingly, within the constraints of the policy, to ensure that available funds are always prioritised to those most in need. The intention is to award available Housing Renewal Assistance fairly and consistently to those who most need it.
And WDC is stating thatit has nothing in place for aimed at those households who, by virtue of their age, disability or financial disadvantage, are least able to help themselves arranging or carrying out of works for the improvement or repair of their homes
unlike all other councils in UK?
And it has not provided any grants for heating or boiler repair in the last 3-years?
