Private Sector Affordable Housing and Council Waiting List
Dear Redbridge Borough Council, Have any LBR residents on the Council housing waiting list for housing been housed in legally defined affordable housing from 2007 to 2019 in the private sector Yes or
No
If yes , has the LBR passed on the details of residents on the waiting list to any other organisations to place residents in private sector affordable housing housing Yes or No
If yes , to which organisations ,
And how many residents have been placed by these organisations in private sector affordable housing each year from 2007 to 2019
And how many in figures were placed in shared ownership properties , how many in rented properties and at what percentage of market rent , and how many in other types of affordable housing and if so , which types each year from 2007 to 2019 ?
yours faithfully,
philip barker
Dear London Borough of Redbridge, For clarification , legally defined affordable housing in the private sector here refers to housing managed by Redbridge Council social providers , rented at a percentage of market rent or shared ownership either in a development wholly owned by a registered social provider or managed by a registered social provider in a development owned not by them but by a commercial company . It does not refer to affordable rented housing in a property owned by the Council ( commonly known as Council housing ) . Will you therefore exclude all residents on affordable rents in council owned homes from the answer and only include figures from residents housed by registered social providers ( commonly known as housing associations ) and in affordable housing in private developments . Has this clarified the question ?
Yours sincerely,
