Private housing on 25th and 26th November
Dear Hounslow Borough Council,
Can you please provide the below information about the private
accommodation that was available and offered to homeless households, on:
25th November 2024, and 26th November 2024. This includes all *private
rented accommodation* that was available for any of the following purposes:
discharge of the main duty, discharge of the relief duty, voluntary offers
and recommendations to households under any homeless duty. Please note: this request is not about temporary accommodation, and therefore we ask that no temporary accommodation properties/offers are listed in the answer.
This request is only about the availability of self contained *private
rented accommodation* with 2 bedrooms or less. We ask that in the reply
studio flats are differentiated from one bedroom flats.
Q1) For each private accommodation unit available to let/offer by the council on
25th November 2024 and 26th November 2024, please provide: a) the number
of bedrooms, b) the postcode* (c) the date of availability, ie. 25th
November 2024, or 26th November 2024
Q2) For each private accommodation unit actually offered by the council
on 25th November 2024 and 26th November 2024,
please provide: a) the number of bedrooms, b) the postcode*, c) the
location related priority group/band of the household the accommodation was offered to [in
accordance with the council's location placement policy, if such policy exists] d) the date of the offer ie. whether 25th November 2024 or 26th November 2024.
Q3) The names of the agencies/companies who were involved in the procurement of the properties available on these dates for the council.
Q4)The council's placement policy for private accommodation. This is the policy which determines which households are prioritised for housing in certain locations.
Please note: a similar previous request was sent, however a typo resulted in the answer wrongly focusing on temporary accommodation. That is why another request has been sent making clearer the focus of the information requested

in accordance to the borough’s Housing Placement Protocol which can be
