Dear Hounslow Borough Council,
Can you please provide the below information about the private accommodation that was available and offered to homeless households, on: 25th November 2024, and 26th November 2024. This includes all private rented accommodation that was available for any of the following purposes: discharge of the main duty, discharge of the relief duty, voluntary offers and recommendations to households under any homeless duty.
This request is only about the availability of self contained private rented accommodation with 2 bedrooms or less. We ask that in the reply studio flats are differentiated from one bedroom flats.
Q1) For each accommodation unit available to let/offer by the council on 25th November 2024 and 26th November 2024, please provide: a) the number of bedrooms, b) the postcode* (c) the date of availability, ie. 25th November 2024, or 26th November 2024
Q2) For each temporary accommodation unit actually offered by the council to a homeless household on 25th November 2024 and 26th November 2024, please provide: a) the number of bedrooms, b) the postcode*, c) the priority group of the household the accommodation was offered to [in accordance with the council's placement policy] d) the date of the offer ie. whether 25th November 2024 or 26th November 2024.
* if the full postcode cannot be provided, we ask that the 4 digit postcode is provided eg. "SW9 8"
Q3) The names of the agencies/companies who were involved in the procurement of the properties available on these dates for the council.
