Dear Three Rivers District Council,
Private Alleyways/Service Roads - FPNs / Enforcement
Could the Council confirm how many occasions Fixed Penalty Notices, or another form of enforcement, that the Council has completed in regards to fly-tipping/clearance required in residential “private” alleyways/service roads over the past five years, preferably listing in a year-by-year format.
Yours faithfully,
Henry Brown
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request.
Our Environmental Protection team have advised that we do not hold the
information requested in full detail. They have advised:
When logging Fly tips, we follow guidance whereas as fly tip on private
land is recorded as 'private residence'. Therefore, we cannot determine
from our records how many of these were in 'residential alleyways' or
'service roads' The figures below shows the number of recorded fly tips on
'private residence' in the last 5 years.
2017 = 34
2018 = 44
2019 = 20
2020 = 14
2021 = 20 (up to 30 September 2021)
We are also unable to determine how many FPNs or enforcement action
relates to these specific reports.
Regards
Freedom of Information Officer
