Prisoners by Local Authority
Dear Scottish Prison Service,
Can you please provide me with the following information:
1) Can you provide me with information on the number of people (based on home address prior to entering custody) being held in prisons across Scotland broken down by local authority area (all 32 local authority areas in Scotland).
2) Can you provide this information for June 2018.
3) Can you provide a breakdown of what prisons people (by local authority area) were being held in across Scotland for both of these periods.
