Prison policies on autism spectrum disorders

Lincolnshire Teaching Primary Care Trust (PCT) did not have the information requested.

Dear Lincolnshire Teaching Primary Care Trust (PCT),

I have some questions which I would like answered with regards to HMP Lincoln. Could you please supply me with the following information:

What is HMP Lincoln’s policy for screening people at reception for autism spectrum disorders (ASD)? Throughout, by autism spectrum disorder (ASD) we mean all conditions on the autism spectrum, including Asperger’s syndrome.

How many prisoners were received into HMP Lincoln, for each month between January 2009 and June 2011, who were identified with an ASD?

What policies does HMP Lincoln have for supporting the needs of prisoners identified with ASD? Please issue us with a copy of any relevant policies.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Yours faithfully,
