I have checked the Prison Finder on the Justice website however from the first five establishments I have checked the details are outdated and incorrect. On that basis I would respectfully request that you do not refer me to this site as a point of accessing the information myself in that I am not able to rely on incorrect and outdated information.

I would furthermore like to recommend that the MOJ consider asking all establishments to update their profiles on the Justice website in that you have a duty under the DPA 1998 to ensure any information provided to members of the public is up to date as reasonably possible.

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Ministry of Justice's handling of my FOI request 'Prison Establishment Updated Contact Details'.

While I agree the information is publicly accessible the information where this can be accessed is not up to date and after checking at least five establishments the name of the governing governor and types of prisoner it holds is inaccurate.

As detailed in my initial request I request you send me up to date and accurate information as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998. Simply stating the information is publically available and easily accessible is not a god enough excuse to ignore the other comments detailed in my initial request.
