Dear Ms Robinson,

 

Thank you for your information request of 12 December 2016.  Aberdeen City
Council (ACC) has completed the necessary search for the information
requested.

 

Please provide the following information:

 

The number of printers in your current estate

The Council awarded a Managed print services Contract to Xerox UK Ltd
commencement date 1st April 2016. Termination date 30th March 2022. The
refresh of all printers is scheduled to be finalised by the 30th March
2017.

 

A detailed set of information will be available on completion of the
printer refresh 30th March 2017, and available for publication by end of
June 2017.

 

Data from the printer refresh process indicates that the Council currently
have in excess of 2000 printer devices (incl MFD,s and copiers).

 

The number of printers leased and/or purchased

Data from the printer refresh process indicate between 25 - 35 leased
and/or purchased existing devices. The Council does not own, or have any
leased or purchased printers within the new contract.

 

The Lease renewal dates of these printers

Any existing Council leased printers will terminate as of the 30th March
2017 at the latest. There will be no renewal of existing contracts.
