Dear General Register Office,

I need this information to fill in the proper inquiries in the online GRO search so the name can populate on the screen under, such as correct first and surname. This will greatly help in my search.

GRO Policy,

Dear Gudmunder Williams

Thank you for your email of 5 February to the General Register Office
regarding information held on Prince Odysseas-Kimon of Greece and Denmark.

Your request has been handled as official correspondence rather than as a
request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000,
although this does not mean that your enquiry has been actioned any
differently or that the information provided contains any less content or
detail.

The information contained in a registration entry can only be released to
an applicant, in the form of a certified copy (certificate), provided that
they can first provide sufficient information to identify the said entry
and upon payment of the statutory fee. As such we are unable to assist you

GRO Policy,

Dear Gudmundur Williams

I have actioned your request for this query to be reviewed. Your original
query was dealt with as official correspondence rather than as a request
for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, however this
does not mean it was actioned any differently or the information provided
contained any less content or detail.

It may be helpful to explain, whilst the General Register Office (GRO)
makes indexes available to the public, we do not provide a service to
search for an individual's GRO index reference number. Information can
only be provided in the form of a certified copy (certificate) on receipt
of an application and payment of the statutory fee once an individual has
identified the relevant entry in the index.

Yours sincerely
