Dear Alan Cole,
Thank you for your request for information which was received on 13th
June. Your request is being handled under the terms of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 ('the Act').
The Act requires that a response must be given promptly, and in any event
within 20 working days. We will therefore aim to reply at the latest by
11th July.
Please remember to quote the reference number above in any future
communications.

Dear Prime Minister's Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Prime Minister's Office's handling of my FOI request 'Prime minister's visit to Washington in june 2023'.
I'm assuming in advance that it will be not considered or refused but i have to follow due process to be able to take it to the information commissioners office. Put i will make the following points.
1.It would not as you say be burdensome and take a large amount of time to make a simple list of the delegation. that would be contained in any number of documents
2.Information that you publish on trips does not contain the specific information i requested. it is just a number that contains no names or titles
3.Even though you are not transparent and try and hide information it its already partly in the public domain. The white house is much more open and publish reports on the meetings there as you can find here.
https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/document.... So i can see from this document
United Kingdom Manifest
T.R.H. Rishi Sunak MP, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland
H.E. Dame Karen Pierce DCMG, Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the United States
Sir Tim Barrow GCMG LVO MBE, National Security Adviser
Mr. Liam Booth-Smith, Chief of Staff to the Prime Minister
Professor John Bew PhD, Foreign Affairs Adviser to the Prime Minister
Ms. Fiona McIlwham, Senior Private Secretary to the Prime Minister
Mr. Toby Parker, Private Secretary to the Prime Minister
Ms. Amber De Botton, Director of Communications, Office of the Prime Minister
Mr. Max Blain, Prime Minister's Spokesperson
If some of this information is already in the public domain for anybody to find on the internet. i'm interested in your point blank refusal. Also as this is a singular request due to everything i said above it should not even be considered Vexatious
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

We shall endeavour to complete the internal review and respond to you
within 20 working days.

Dear Prime Minister's Office,
I’m just progress chasing the internal review. The date was July 12th and you state you will respond within 20 working days and it is over this now.
Yours faithfully,
alan cole
Dear Alan Cole,
Thank you for your email.
While we aim to reply to Internal Review requests within 20 working days,
there is no statutory deadline in the same way as with Freedom of
Information requests. I can assure you your request is being dealt with
and we aim to have a reply for soon as soon as possible.
Kind regards,
Cabinet Office FOI Team
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
I know there is no statutory deadline after the 20 working day deadline that has passed it has now been a further month. I quote from the ICO website
"You should acknowledge an internal review request and provide a target date for response, which should usually be within 20 working days. Public authorities, such as schools, who may exceed the 20 working day time limit can also apply this approach to internal reviews."
Please can you either respond or provide a target date thank you
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
Dear Alan Cole,
Thank you for your email.
The ICO advises that public authorities should take no longer than 40
working days to complete an internal review and while we work hard to
ensure that responses are issued in a timely manner this is not always
possible.
Please accept our apologies that on this occasion we have not been able to
issue a response within the time frame advised by the ICO. I would like to
assure you that the review is still being conducted and a response will be
issued to you as soon as it has concluded.
Yours sincerely,
FOI Team
Cabinet Office
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
I will be making a official complaint to the ICO regarding there has still not been a response to my FOI internal review request. There has not even been an explanation over the length of time taken to either release this information or refuse to release a simple list. It seems you do not want to release the information but are finding it hard to come up with a reason to refuse it. I can see from the publically available white house visitor logs the following people at the white house and the dates they were there.
Yours sincerely, Alan Cole

Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
It has now been 107 days/3 months since my request for a internal review. You have yet to provide an explanation about why it has taken 3 months and counting a decision one way or the other regarding this request. I would like an explanation about this continuing delay or how to I raise a complaint about the cabinet office ?
Yours sincerely,
alan cole

Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
It has been nearly a further month and you still have not provided a response to my internal review. You have provided no reason why after several months yo have still not provided a reply. I would like a detailed explanation about why you have not given a response and not the copy and paste generic response you have given the last 2 times
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
Dear Mr Cole,
I understand that the response to your request for an Internal Review is
being finalised and so it should not be too much longer before it is with
you.
You have our apologies for the delay, of course.
Kind regards,
FOI Team
Cabinet Office
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
2 weeks ago you stated after several months it was being finalised and would be given “shortly” As yet there has been no reply. There has also not been any explanation of the lengthy delay which is well outside good practice timeframes
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
Dear Mr Cole,
The response is complete and is currently being cleared to be sent to
you. We anticipate it being sent to you in the next few days.
Kind regards,
FOI Team
Cabinet Office
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
That is good news since it will be 5 days tomorrow since that last reply after 2 weeks to finalize it unless your definition of a few days is different
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
You stated on 6th of December that this would be sent within a few days. 9 days later no reply not even to my last prompt. So if it was finalized 2 weeks ago and cleared to be sent over a week ago why has there been further delay ?
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
Dear Mr Cole,
We are still awaiting clearance and will send out the response to you as
soon as it is completed.
Kind regards,
FOI Team
Cabinet Office
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
Why did you stated on the 6th it would be a few days and 2 weeks later has not been. 2 weeks before that you also stated it was being finalised. So why do you keep saying different things and delaying even further. This is really not good enough
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
Dear FOI Team Mailbox,
You stated at the start of December it had been finalised. You stated on December 6th it would be sent on a few days. Now it is January 3rd and still no reply. What you informed me was totally untrue and I don’t appreciate being lied too. You have provided no reason either regarding why it has taken months to get a response to this
Yours sincerely,
alan cole
