How do you predict the number of primary school pupils will change in your area between from 2012 to 2016*?

*I am suggesting these dates – but to keep the time/costs down, if you have information included in a published plan for similar dates that will be fine.

How many places do you need to provide to meet the population change?

How many primary schools will be expanding in your area?

How many new primary schools will be opening in your area?

How many primary schools in your area will lose playground/playing field space because of the need to expand – ie there will be building on the current playground?

How many will primary schools will need to expand pupil numbers but not lose playground/playing field space?

How many will primary schools will need to expand pupil numbers and increase playground/playing field space?

How many primary schools will be expanding in your area? We are currently predicting two further expansions of 1 form of entry each in the next year. The consultations for these proposals is to start imminently. In addition a free school is also proposing expanding by a form of entry.

How many new primary schools will be opening in your area? We are not currently planning for any new primary schools in the area.

How many primary schools in your area will lose playground/playing field space because of the need to expand – ie there will be building on the current playground? If the two current proposals were to proceed it is likely that we would need to build at least part of the resultant extensions on playground space. The proposals are not yet far enough advanced to say exactly what the situation might be. The design work will ensure that as little playground space as possible will be used. It is not anticipated that there will be any need to build on playing field space.

How many will primary schools will need to expand pupil numbers but not lose playground/playing field space? Not applicable

How many will primary schools will need to expand pupil numbers and increase playground/playing field space? Not applicable
