Dear Department for Education,
Thanks David for that information.
I am however slightly disappointed with the lack of email addresses..? Is there a reason why you are unable to give me this information..? I was told that the Department of Education holds contact information for each school including email addresses.

Yours faithfully,

Mr Z Rafiq

Department for Education

Mr Rafiq

Unfortunately, the school email address field is not a mandatory field on EduBase at present.

Although the Department is constantly working with schools and local authorities to ensure the data is as up to date as feasible. As the schools can access EduBase directly to up date their own records for these fields we can only ever provide the data we hold on the system, at the time of the request.

Therefore each extract of data we produce from eduBase states at the top of the spreadsheet, that the data is that held on the system as at a particular date.
