Pride flags
Dear Bracknell Forest Borough Council,
Please supply information under the FOI Act 2000 and the council’s constitutional openness and accountability mandates for information that shows the separate cost and number of all Pride flags, commonly known as radical rainbow flags, purchased by Bracknell Forest Borough Council and the cost (if any) and number of each of the said flags flown from buildings in the Bracknell Forest Borough Council area and provide a list of the buildings since 2018.
Please supply any documents, emails, transcripts, texts or phone recordings that are connected with the suggestion, encouragement, debate, approval and implementation of any Pride flag flying.
Please supply minutes of any council meetings that approved or discussed Pride flags and a copy of any invoices for the flags and any ancillary costs to implement their flying.
Please clarify where these flags actually came from and supply a copy of the original receipt(s) if possible please.
Please supply a copy of any document from outside the council, including but not limited to government, advice, or advice from a foreign government or EU body which advocates for the flying of the Pride flag from buildings controlled by the council within the geographical jurisdiction of the council.
