I am writing in response to your Freedom of Information request received on 31 May 2016 in which you asked for details concerning a conference recently held at Goldsmiths, University of London.

Preparations for this event were undertaken in accordance with the College's policy and guidelines for venue bookings. I have attached copies of these documents for your information together with completed copies of the event risk assessment and external speakers forms. The policy and guidelines make reference to the General Regulations and Freedom of Speech policy of the University which may be found on our website at the following location:

In addition we spoke to our local Prevent Officer who was satisfied with these arrangements.
