Presenting Officer Induction Course Training Materials

The request was refused by Home Office.

Dear Home Office,

I am aware that Home Office Presenting Officers (HOPO) undertake an induction course with yourselves. I am aware that such a course does infact take a number of days to complete.

I request release of the training material, including powerpoint presentations, and handouts that you use during the induction courses.

To ease your search for the requested information, I am aware that the training materials is developed by:

Professional Development Team
Litigation and Appeals Management Directorate
Central Operations and Performance

I also point out that I have infact already seen PRESENTING OFFICER INDUCTION COURSE - DAY ONE, Version 2, issued 01/10/2008.

As this document was produced close to five years ago, I am unsure whether Julian Smith or Lyndsey Kalaher would still be the main authors of the document requested. I do, however, trust that this would help you direct the request onto the correct department.

I also highlight that I am only requesting information produced for the Induction Course - to which I am aware was an 11 day course in 2008.

Yours faithfully,

Wayne Pearsall

Dear Home Office,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Presenting Officer Induction Course Training Materials'.

You stated on your response previously that I could expect a response by the 11th September 2013.

I have, however, noticed that shelley westwood has released a partial set of the data I requested to another user on WDTK (Ref: 28601). I will therefore not require the release of the information that has been (and appears still requires releasing) in this request - I consider that the released information (ref 28601) is information that is reasonably accessible to myself (as I am now following that request also).

I do however, still expect a response to my Internal Review request, and any information that falls within the scope of my own request that has not been released on the above mentioned request to be released.

I noticed that there is reference to a code of ethics on the released information, can you confirm that the information released on the request:
https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c... (Sorry, I cannot see your FOI Ref on the release) and (I assume) the release on 28611 is up to date considering that it was only released last week ( https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/m... ). I have also seen a copy of the response to FOI request 27773 ( https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/u... ).

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Wayne Pearsall
