Preparation of the COVID-19 Response: Living with COVID-19 by HMG in respect of prophylaxis treatments

The request was refused by Department of Health and Social Care.

Louise Bicknell

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Preparation of the COVID-19 Response: Living with COVID-19 by HMG in respect of prophylaxis treatments

On 21 February 2022 HMG published the “COVID-19 Response: Living with COVID-19
The government’s plan for removing the remaining legal restrictions while protecting people most vulnerable to COVID-19 and maintaining resilience.”

Please provide me with any advice and costings on the use of prophylaxis treatments (excluding vaccines) that was considered by HMG when preparing this plan.

It is notable that the use of prophylaxis as a means of protection for the people most vulnerable to COVID-19 is not mentioned in this plan as a potential option, hence my interest in this question.

Yours faithfully,

Louise Bicknell
