Dear Department of Health and Social Care,

Would you please:

1. inform me whether the DHSC has carried out any research into the preferences of female patients as to the gender of the doctors and nurses (including midwives) who they see in relation to obstetrics and gynaecology

2. inform me whether the DHSC is aware of any research on the preferences of female patients as to the gender of the doctors and nurses (including midwives) who they see in relation to obstetrics and gynaecology

3. would you please provide me with details of the research referred to above. If there are many documents would you please provide me with a list so that I can narrow down my request for copies of the documents.
