Precedent Book (current)
Dear Cabinet Office,
Please provide me with an electronic copy of the current Precedent Book, the existence of which I was alerted to by Lord Hennessey's oral evidence in the "Constitutional Implications of the Cabinet Manual" report, produced by the Political and Constitutional Reform Committee.
Note that I am not asking for the Cabinet Manual, and I am not asking for the pre-1950s Precedent Book currently available via the National Archives. I would like the current version.
Yours faithfully,
Steve Elibank

Dear Mr Elibank
I'm afraid at this stage it is too early to say when it will be ready for publication - as I said in my letter there is a considerable volume of material.
Kind regards,
Kathryn
Dear Kathryn,

It's been five months now, and I wondered whether you were yet in a position to tell me when the Precedent Book will be released.
