Dear University of Oxford,
I am writing to request a spreadsheet which includes the following information for 2018 UCAS cycle PPE applicants:
1. The GCSE grades of each applicant
2. The AS grades of each applicant
3. The predicted A level grades of each applicant
4. The TSA Section 1 score of each applicant
5. The TSA Section 2 score of each applicant
6. The average interview score of each applicant (if shortlisted)
7. The individual interview scores of each applicant (if shortlisted)
Since there is precedent for a similar request being accepted for 2017 entry applicants, the Section 40 exemption does not apply. Additionally, since the University of Oxford has not historically published this information containing all of the aforementioned data, it is not subject to the Section 22 exemption.
Furthermore, although the interview scores requested are not available at the time of this request, they will be available by 6 December 2017, and should be therefore be included in the spreadsheet.
I am aware that the first 5 requested data points have already been produced for a request by Dr Green, though I should emphasise that this would be, in a sense, new data as it would be matching the existing data with the interview scores.
Dear Mr Dodds,
I write to acknowledge receipt of your request.
We shall send you a substantive response no later than the statutory
deadline of 29^th December 2017.
FOI Temporary Assistant
Dear Mr Dodds,
I am writing in reference to your request for information regarding the PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) applications for entry in 2018 under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
With regard to the different points listed as in your original email we can cannot supply the answers to points 6. The average interview score of each applicant (if shortlisted) and point 7. The individual interview scores of each applicant (if shortlisted). This is because the interviews do not happen until January 2018.
I am afraid that this information will not be available until February as the list of shortlisted candidates have not been released yet and therefore we cannot supply any information related to this. There will be much more information available in relation to your questions from February 2018. Would you like to resubmit your request when this information is available or do you wish us to proceed with your request now but only in relation to items 1-5?
If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Dear Ms Kirby-Hall,
You are mistaken about the dates of interviews. All interviews for Undergraduate Admission to Oxford take place in December. PPE interviews have already taken place, between the 2nd and 6th of December. Candidates were shortlisted in November.
As stated on the Oxford Univeristy website (http://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergrad...) - “Interviews for entry in 2018, or for deferred entry in 2019, will take place between 3 and 15 December 2017.”
All colleges were required to have submitted their first interview scores for PPE to the Admissions Support System by 5PM on Tuesday December 5, as detailed on page 25 of this document: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/4....
Secondary interview scores are meant to have been uploaded today (December 6).
Please confirm that you have recognised this, and re-confirm that you will be able to fulfill the request by the date you are obligated to (December 29).
Dear Mr. Dodds,
Please find attached the University’s response to your request.
