Powys THB Elective Surgeries Cancelled 2023-23
Dear Powys Teaching Health Board,
I am seeking information on the following points about elective surgeries.
1. The number of elective operations cancelled by the health board, at no fault of the patient. I would like this information for 2022-23.
1a. Please provide a breakdown by service or speciality.
1b. Clarify how many of the operations were cancelled for clinical reasons, as opposed to non-clinical.
1c. Clarify how many of the operations were cancelled at 'short notice’?
1d. Clarify how many of the cancelled operations were rescheduled within the following 28 days?
