Potholes and street repairs in Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish during the period april 2022 to april 2023
Dear Cheshire West and Chester Council,
It has become increasing apparent to road users in (and through) this Parish that the 15, or so, miles of road from, 'A' to 'Unclassified' have seen the numbers of carriageway faults increase almost exponentially. Many cannot be classified on your website;
Where a pothole is at least:
4cm deep on a road
2.5cm on a pavement
Please use the report it button below and we will investigate.
For potholes that fall outside of the criteria, we have routine maintenance and resurfacing plans in place.
Two roads were resurfaced in recent years - Tirley Lane and Heaths Lane and, on both, the road surface is showing significant deterioration, other 'through routes' (John Street, Wood Lane and Utkinton lane) are showing significant stages of being in need of repair or replacement.
Can you please provide a list of all the road repairs undertaken together with the reference number and date on which it was undertaken. If possible the cost of each repair.
Yours faithfully,
Francis Tunney
Councillor, Utkinton and Cotebrook Parish Council.
