postal JSA

Andrew Love made this Freedom of Information request to Department for Work and Pensions

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Could you please explain the difference between signing on fortnightly at a Jobcentre and fortnightly postal signing.

Could you please inform me what conditions are different between postal signing and attending a jobcentre, assuming no disability or issues with time away from home, and own transport.

Would accepting a postal signing constitute signing a new JSAg, or would the existing JSAg remain in force.

Please feel free to provide any other relevant information in the differences between postal and jobcentre signing on as there seems to be no accessible information about this.

Yours faithfully,

Andrew Love
