Post Office had no desire to be involved in Compensation Schemes

Dear Post Office Limited,In evidence today Nick Read stated POL had no desire to be involved in SPM Compensation and had communicated this wish to Government .For Compensation hearing dates 6 july 2022,13 july 2022,8 dec 2022 and 27 april 2023 can you provide details of Post Office either acquainting the Inquiry of this desire or any correspondence with Government that supports this claim?

Dear [email address],Thank you for a reply.I sent the same question to DBT who gave me the following answer https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/n... you explain why DBT answer and produce documents to a question that you say is vexatious?Who has got the right end of the stick here and could it be that the Post Office's long held siege mentality and inability to provide information still goes strong in November 2024.As more and more evidence of malpractice comes out you must expect greater scrutiny surely?To help you I sent the DBT reply to Nick Read yesterday-did you check with him before replying?
