Florence Elizabeth Constance Daisley

Dear Department for Work and Pensions

Please can you confirm that Universal Credit will continue to be paid into Post Office Card Accounts?

Please advise by which date that it is planned to cease payment of Universal Credit into Post Office Card Accounts.

There is a rumour circulating (allegedly started by job centre staff) that when Universal Credit is claimed, only the initial payment will be paid into a Post Office Card Account and any second and subsequent payments will not be paid into a Post Office Card Account. Please advise if this is factual.

Yours faithfully,

Florence Elizabeth Constance Daisley

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'Post office card account'

My request specifically asked about continuing payments into the POCA, i.e. the truth or otherwise, that POCA can only be used for an initial payment and not subsequent payments. The reply did not provide information about this, nor did it indicate that no such information is held.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Florence Elizabeth Constance Daisley
