Post Office Annual Accounts 21/22 Amended December 2022

The request was successful.

Dear Post Office Limited,

You have previously responded to a similar request from me https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/1... in which you state:

"We can confirm that the draft ARA approved by the Board in July 2022 is
substantially the same as that published on our website
(https://corporate.postoffice.co.uk/media...) with
only a few minor amendments as set out in the table at the end of the letter. "

In an FOI response from the Department of Business and Trade to me today, the department show an email from Al Cameron dated 5th December to the Department stating that POL are withdrawing the ARA provided to them with specific reference to Directors Remuneration and that it is reputationally sensitive.

Previous FOIs reveal that POL and the Department agree that the final accepted (by both parties) version of the 21/22 ARA was provided by POL to the Department on the 25th January 23.

As you have previously provided me with details of the changes made by the board sub-committee to the approved ARA dated 12th August 2022 please provide me with the changes that were made to the ARA that was withdrawn by POL on the 5th December 2022 compared to the version that was supplied to the Department on the 25th January 2023.

Yours faithfully,

Tim McCormack
