The relevant Council Service(s) has searched for the requested information
and our response is as follows.

5.            How many Post Mortems are completed/do you pay for each

Although this is addressed to Stockport MBC it does relate to the
Coroner. 

 

The coroner is not a “public authority” within the meaning of the Freedom
Of Information Act
2000   (see s 3(1) and schedule 1) .

Disclosure of information or
documentation from coronial investigations and inquests is not governed by
a Freedom of Information request but by the Coroners (Investigations)
Regulations 2013.

As such the Coroner is not required to supply you with the
information requested.

 

Some information the Coroners do have to provide annually to the Chief
Coroner who then publishes in his annual report which is online.
