Post-19 LDA to ECHP transfer

The request was successful.

Dear Tower Hamlets Borough Council,

Please could you tell me:

1. How many young people between the ages of 19 and 25 years old had a
Learning Difficulty Assessment (LDA) in the 2015/2016 academic year, in
your local authority area?

2. How many young people between the ages of 19 and 25 years old will
continue with their education in the 2016/2017 academic year, and
therefore require an Education Health and Care (EHC) plan?

3. How many LDAs were successfully transferred to an EHC plan before the
31 August 2016 deadline?

4. How many young people between the age of 19 and 25 with an LDA were
still waiting for their LDA to be transferred to an EHC plan post the 31
August deadline?

Yours faithfully,

Christina Savage
