Possibility of cross contamination in Porton Down

Waiting for an internal review by Defence Science and Technology Laboratory of their handling of this request.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I was wondering what de-contamination procedures were used to stop cross contamination before, during and after tests were in place after outside spray tests, and to stop one person contaminating some one who was not involved in the same test as another.
While most service volunteers were at porton they wore their own uniform clothes through out the day which may or may not have been contaminated by their exposure to chemical or biological agents. They also shared toilet, bath/shower facilities and sleeping accomidation with other personnel under going other trials.
Also what information was given to people who took part in trials of biological or nerve agents about being blood or organ donors (i:e:- So that these biological or nerve agents were not passed onto others, because of their donating blood or organs.) It happened with the AIDS virus being passed through these means, MRSA and C-DIF can be passed on the same way so why not these agents.

Yours faithfully,

Francis Brown

Dear Sir or Madam,
I still see that any question in regards to any thing to do with Porton Down will not be given an answer. If this was a NHS facility then every one would want to know what happened but it is a Government site so nothing will be said about it's use and what went on there.

Yours faithfully,

Francis Brown

Dear Sir or Madam,
This is really something that the MOD as employer of our Armed Forces should be answering, not DSTL Porton Down.

Dstl are a wholly owned trading fund of the Ministry of Defence, i.e. they are part of the MOD.

Dear Defence Science and Technology Laboratory,
Is this another request that does not get answered. We the people who ask these questions may ask the Freedom Of Information Commissioner to start an investigation in Parliament into why these questions do not get answered.
You seem to take great pride in not obeying the Law as set down in Statute to answer these questions.
Remember the Parliament and all Civil Servants work for the people of the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and they pay your wages to obey the Law and answer these questions or are you claiming wages under false pretence. Please any answer is better than none even one that is a lie.

Yours faithfully,

Francis Brown

Dear Defence Science and Technology Laboratory,
Nearly Three months and not even an apology for not responding in the time set by law. What goes on in your department not a lot by the lack of answers that you do not give.

Yours faithfully,

Francis Brown

Dear Defence Science and Technology Laboratory,
Still no answer it is now March 15th 2010

Dear Defence Science and Technology Laboratory,
When we visit some one in a hospital we have to use anti bacteralogical wash on our hands to stop contaminating the wards and patients. If we can contaminate some one in a hospital just by being in contact with them, why can you not tell me what steps were taken to stop cross contamination during the service personnel trials.

Yours faithfully,

Francis Brown
