Dear Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority,

Further to my FOI request, to clarify you previously provided a list of PCNP vehicles one of which you listed in the spreadsheet as Registration: CV20 XYC Toyota Corolla Tourer HB.

It is my understanding you may have incorrectly provided the registration number and this should or maybe CY20 XYC (not 'CV')? please confirm?

Therefore my four questions for the FOI request is for a Toyota Corolla Tourer HB with the registration CY20 XYC or CV20 XYC.

Yours faithfully,

James Stanley

Dear Reception Staff and shared mailbox,

Regarding your unqualified and erroneous statement:

''The specific nature of your questions suggests that there is perhaps a
personal matter pertaining to your enquiry, if that is the case I would
recommend you please report this to us for investigation or, indeed the
police''.

The Freedom of Information Act does not entitle PCNP to make guesswork or presumption, highlighted by your use of the words ''suggests'' and ''perhaps''.

To the contrary the Information Commissioners Office makes this point:
''an applicant (requester) does not need to give you a reason for wanting the information. On the contrary, you must justify refusing them information;''

It also makes these points:
''What are the principles behind the Freedom of Information Act?
The main principle behind freedom of information legislation is that people have a right to know about the activities of public authorities, unless there is a good reason for them not to. This is sometimes described as a presumption or assumption in favour of disclosure. The Act is also sometimes described as purpose and applicant blind''.

Therefore please provide which department was responsible for using the following Pool vehicle on 9th November 2021 and for what activity? Toyota Corrola tourer HB, registration: CV20 XYC.

Yours sincerely,

James Stanley
