Dear Home Office,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Home Office's handling of my FOI request 'Pontins at Sefton and Camber Sands'.
Explain properly why confirming or denying the info is held would =
(a) endanger the physical or mental health of any individual, or
(b) endanger the safety of any individual.
When the illegal immigrants move in everyone will know they are there.
Yours faithfully,
Edward Williams

Dear Home Office,
"Response
Under section 12 of the FOI Act, the Home Office is not obliged to comply with an
information request where to do so would exceed the cost limit.
We hold the information you have requested but we have estimated that the cost of
locating and collating any relevant information and extracting the information to meet
your request would exceed the cost limit of £600 specified in the Freedom of
Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004. We
are therefore unable to comply with it. This is because the information you have
requested is not held in one place. Therefore, to locate and retrieve the information
in scope of your request, we estimate over 800 documents / emails will need to be
retrieved from various inboxes and folders and then scrutinised to extract the
relevant information.
The £600 limit is based on work being carried out at a rate of £25 per hour, which
equates to 24 hours of work per request. The cost of locating, retrieving and
extracting information can be included in the costs for these purposes.
If you refine your request, so that it is more likely to fall within the cost limit, then we
will consider it again. For example, by reducing the amount of information requested,
or by removing the parts related to a request for ‘correspondence’ "
Please supply the viability report/assessment and forget the correspondence.
Yours faithfully,
Edward Williams
