Dear Jonathan
Your Information Request
Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (“FOISA”)
I refer to the email of 13 January 2023 in which you requested,
“Can your institution tell us how many of your staff members including lecturers voted for the
following political parties or independent candidates in previous Scottish local authority (2022)
Elections, Scottish Parliamentary Elections (2021), UK General Elections (2019) and last EU
Parliamentary Elections (2019)…” I have treated your request as a request for information under section 1 of FOISA. An application
for information under section 1 of FOISA requires that a public authority releases all information
held, subject to any applicable exemptions. Under FOISA, public authorities have twenty working
days following the date of receipt of the request to respond to an applicant. The deadline for
receipt of the response to your request is therefore 10 February 2023.
I have considered your request for information and under section 17 of FOISA, I can confirm that
the College does not hold this information.
