Policy,sex, regulations, expenses
Dear Scottish Prison Service,
What expenses can prison Officers claim? Please supply copies of policy/, guidance to staff in relation to this.
Please supply training manuals on any academic material entry staff require to know. Such as prison regulations for example.
Do the service supply condoms and lube to prisoners if so how are these obtained by inmates? If any policy please supply on sexual relations between fellow inmates? If none of this applies what responsibility does the service take to mitigate transmission of HIV etc ?
What is the discipline process for a inmate? This might be answered in my prior question on prison regulations.
Yours faithfully,
John Brown

Dear Duffin Paul,
What information is supplied to guide what can be claimed?
Is each prison covered by that particular health board or is it NHS Scotland? Confused as it's not regional like Police being national for example.
Yours sincerely,
John Brown

Mr Brown,
Firstly let me apologise for the delay responding to your request for
review. As I am sure you are aware current circumstances are having a huge
impact on efficiency of all organisations at this time. It is with the
current situation in mind that the Scottish Information Commissioner has
relaxed the 20 working day constraint on all Freedom of Information
requests. This has been temporarily extended to 60 working days until
further notice. The Scottish Prison Service will however endeavour to
adhere to the 20 working day constraint wherever possible.
Secondly, with regard to your request of 17^th February 2020, the attached
letter was sent to yourself on the same day, please see below and
attached. As no such clarification was received the request has been
closed. However if the information you seek is still required please
resubmit your request and it will be processed according the current
legislative requirements.
The Freedom of Information Act allows anyone to make a request for
information. To ensure that a request is valid it should be as clear as
possible about the information requested, it should also be noted that a
request for documents is not as request for information. I have attached a
link to some advice provide on the Scottish Information Commissioners
website.
