b) the number of Penalty Charge Notices issued to motorbikes in each
of the last 5 years
We only hold the make and colour of a vehicle, not the vehicle type, so we
would have to check the photographic evidence of each Penalty Charge
Notice issued over the five year period in question. As a result, and in
accordance with the provisions defined under section 12 of the Freedom of
Information Act 2000 we are not obliged to comply with your request as the
process of identifying, locating, retrieving and, where appropriate,
extracting the information would exceed the 'appropriate limit' as defined
by the Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and
Fees) Regulations 2004.
To process your request and to identify the detailed information relevant
to the number of PCNs issued to motorbikes in each of the last five years
would take in excess of 18 hours. You may wish to revise the scope of
your request in order to try and bring it within the cost limit.
I hope this information meets your needs. If you do not understand the
information provided or wish to discuss anything further, please feel free
to contact me and I, or another member of the team, will be able to assist
you.
