Dear Bath and North East Somerset Council,

Please treat this request for information as a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

Please provide me with the following information:

1. A copy of the Memorandum of Understanding between Bath and NE Somerset Council and British Waterways that was discussed at the meeting between the Council and BW on 8 December 2011.

2. The minutes of the Council's meeting in February 2012 to look at the GTAA and the feasibility of including boat dwellers' accommodation needs in the GTAA.

3. A copy of any decisions made by the Council regarding inclusion of boat dwellers' accommodation needs in the GTAA.

4. A copy of the background detail given by BW to the Council at the meeting on 8 December 2011 on the Mooring Strategy and the rules that govern boating.

5. All internal and external correspondence held by the Council between Sally Ash and Damian Kemp of British Waterways and the following members and officers of the Council: Cllr Tim Ball; Ashley Ayres; Ann Robins; Sarah Johnston; Rebecca Jones and Cordelia Johnney, from 1 January 2011 to date.

the Act provides an exemption to the general right of access to

Nick Brown left an annotation ()

It is of note that the notes taken by BANES, in the meeting between BW and BANES held on 8th December 2011, of the presentation by Sally Ash of BW contain a number of material errors.

It is clear that the true details behind these issues are specifically known to Sally Ash. This arises because of
(1) my previous work in the BW Kennet and Avon Mooring Strategy Steering Group of which she was chair and latterly the chair reported to her including presentation of meeting minutes; and
(2) the intimate knowledge that Ms Ash holds of the Davies case (including my correspondence with Ms Ash on the subject).

It follows that Ms Ash has wilfully misrepresented to BANES this information.
