I am requesting the following information under the provisions of the Freedom Of Information Act 2000.
How much did the policing of the Lincoln 2012 Olympic event cost (Both days)
Which public or private body paid for the policing?
How many police were moved from their normal beats to police the route
How many police were policing non-route areas.
How many non-serious incidents were reported during the events (outside of the route area)
How many serious incidents were reported during the events (Outside of the route area)
What was the response time for non-serious incidents during the event (Outside of the route area)
What was the response time for serious incidents during the event (Outside of the route area)
How many non-serious incidents were reported during the events (Along the route)
How many serious incidents were reported during the events (Along the route)
What was the response time for non-serious incidents during the event (Along the route)
What was the response time for serious incidents during the event (Along the route)

They are obliged under the Act to help you refine your query so it comes under the cost limit. You could remind them of that and ask how you might do that.
Also, this information will be stored in some database somewhere so they don't need to do the analysis - you can ask for data on all complaints, anonymised if necessary (they cannot use the cost of redaction in a refusal). This should be straightforward and not exceed the hours limit. You can then do the analysis on serious etc yourself.
If they get fussy about that, ask for the data dictionary so you can be specific about what fields you wish (e.g. time recorded, description, etc)
