policed by CONSENT

Freeman Kev made this Freedom of Information request to Devon and Cornwall Constabulary

This request has been closed to new correspondence. Contact us if you think it should be reopened.

The request was refused by Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.

Dear Devon and Cornwall Constabulary,

As it seems that many of your officers are unaware of the fact that the british people as a nation are policed by consent (as publicly confirmed by the home secretary: Theresa May)

Will you confirm this fact here, or are you, along with many of the policy enforcement officers in your employment, of the oppinion that they/you have the right to police the british people by means of force threat and coercion, as is becoming more and more publicesed throughout the country

please state here clearly for the record if it is the view of devon and cornwall police that they have a right to enforce policys upon men and women without consent [ie viewing britain as a dictatorship] or if it is your view that employees of devon and cornwall police must uphold their oaths of office and protect the rights of the people.

as these views are completely incompatible please detail which of the two is your official policy.

also, if (as stated) we ARE policed by consent, then what is the remedy available to the public when rogue policy enforcement officers exceed their authority and use force threat and coercion to push private corpoarte policys unlawfully and without consent upon men and women [IE commit commonlaw crimes against the british people]

Yours faithfully,

Freeman Kev

Dear Devon and Cornwall Constabulary,

as you have refused the freedom of information request and not answered the question, let me clarify for you the very simple questions i am lawfully making for information which is in the public interest to know, and to point out that should you be unable or unwilling to answer these questions it may be viewed as gross negligence.

1: are we policed by consent, yes or no?

2: are devon and cornwall police expected by their employors to honor and uphoild their solomn oath of office at all times

3: what remedies are available to the public for commonlaw crimes commited against them by employees of devon and cornwall police

please answer these very simple questions truthfully rather than skirting around the issues

Dear Devon and Cornwall Constabulary,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Devon and Cornwall Constabulary's handling of my FOI request 'policed by CONSENT'.

the person dealing with this request has avoided the very relevant questions (to which the public have an absolute right to know) altogether.
it is my belief that witholding such information is an insult to the public you allegedly serve.

i wish to make formal complaint regarding this individual also, please forward all information neccesary to making official complaint in this matter.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:

Dear Devon and Cornwall Constabulary,

i aknowledge your receipt and passing on of my request for an internal review, however you have still not provided me with the relevant information on making an official complaint regarding the witholding of information, and the breach of trust plced in the individual responsible, by failing to answer the question [which it is my understanding that as a public servant he is obliged to do]

please ensure that this information regarding the complaints procedure is forwarded without delay.

I trust you will deliver this information in a timely manner without further avoidance of the issues.
I further trust that you will now refrain from addressing me as a legal fiction AKA 'MR' which i most certainly am not and which i find insulting.

Yours faithfully,

Freeman Kev

I am the agent for the fictional strawman that was created with the name Sarah Goldsmith left an annotation ()

you are asking for opinion. Opinion is NOT covered under the requirements of the Freedom Of Information Act.

Try rephrasing your question, this time by requesting RECORDED INFORMATION (which is what they are required to disclose under the FOIA).

Good luck x

Thanks Sarah..will try that and see what they use to try to worm out of that one..maybe one day they will provide a straight answer..although I doubt anyone would really expect that after reading any of their usual avoidance of issues

I am the agent for the fictional strawman that was created with the name Sarah Goldsmith left an annotation ()

you probably feel they 'avoid' answering you because you have not asked for recorded information. Employees are not required to supply opinion... just FACT.

Try asking for FACTUAL RECORDED INFORMATION, then you stand a good chance at getting a FACTUAL RECORDED answer.

Ranting and offering 'opinion' etc will get you nowhere.

Try thinking about what INFORMATION THEY MAY HAVE ON FILE that you want to see. Then ask for that. Anything else, it just a waste of your - and their - time xx
