Police SEARCH Recruit Assessment Centre test scores by ethnicity (2017)

The request was successful.

Dear College of Policing Limited,

I read with interest your report:

"Police SEARCH Recruit Assessment Centre: TVP Data request – Assessment Centre performance data 2013 - 2017" https://www.npcc.police.uk/Publication/C...

To better understand Table 3, "pass rates by ethnic background", I would like, if possible, scores, samples sizes, and standard deviations for the following assessments:

- 12 minute numerical reasoning test
- 25 minute verbal reasoning test
- 2 written tests

For the 2017 year, the last year you give in the report above.

Yours faithfully,

John Fuerst

College FOI, College of Policing Limited

Dear College FOI,

Yes, I would like the mean scores achieved for different ethnic groups (narrow if possible, broad if not) for the:
numerical reasoning test
verbal reasoning test
written test(s)
For the 2017 year. I don't want individual data.
I would like the sample size per ethnic group, so I can compute the standard error.
To make sense of the score differences I also would like the standard deviations, however, these can just be the tests normative standard deviations (a very common measure of dispersion), not the ones for these particular samples. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Standard_d...
Yours sincerely,
John Fuerst
