To help us identify the information you require I would be grateful if you would provide me with the following information:

In relation to your questions 6, 7 and 8 you have referred to Police Protection orders. This is not a term used by us but you may be referring to either Emergency Protection Orders - which are issued by a magistrate, or Police Protection Powers, where the Police have an emergency power when necessary, for example where there is not enough time to apply for an emergency protection order, to remove a child or children from a parent or carer where there is reasonable cause to believe a child would otherwise be likely to suffer significant harm.

Please could you confirm whether your request relates to Police Protection Powers, or Emergency Protection Orders.

The following link may be of some assistance to you:

Please note, information that relates to Emergency Protection Orders (EPOs)will be held by the Local Authority for the purposes of providing care and forms part of the children's record.

If you are unable to give me this information, please indicate how I may otherwise assist you. Unfortunately I am unable to respond to your request until I have received this information.

If you would like to discuss this matter please do not hesitate to contact me.
