Common Law Jurisdiction

Dear Information Compliance,

Are any of your staff looking in to my FOI requests?

I ask because there was a kerfuffle about one and I have sent numerous emails since without reply to ask if you will fulfil the requests.

Yours sincerely,

Hello ICO
Humberside Police have failed to respond to a futher 3 FOI requests, bringing the total to 5 and counting. I see no point in contacting them as these mount up (although I have copied them in to this email) as they only ignore me unless I ring and then they can't ignore me. To be frank I don't see why I should have to ring them, I think that they are either under equipped or choosing to ignore these requests. Either way it isn't good enough. Other organisations fulfill FOI requests for me with great speed in some cases so why can't Humberside Police. I wouldn't mind so much if they had the courtesy to say sorry that they can't meet deadlines, but it's just a wall of silence.

Leeds City Council for example have been excellent in fulfilling requests timely and even including additional information.
My experience with Humberside Police has been the mirror opposite.
Please can you deal with this as per whatever authority you have?
"Bart Joseph"
Thank you

Subject: 2 x FOI Requests Not Answered
Hello ICO

Humberside Police have failed to answer the 2 FOI requests below:

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/t...

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/h...

The 20 day limit has breached and I requested an internal review over 2 days ago, but had nothing other than an auto-email.

I have a recorded phone call where Humberside Police say they are processing these, which you can have a copy of if you want (just ask).

Humberside Police have not asked for an extension either

Please can you do the necessary to get Humberside Police in to action?

"Bart Joseph"

Thank you
